We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Latin America Sales Operation Director to join our organization in any of the region countries, and reporting directly to the Systems Vice President Business Planning, Analysis and Operations for the Americas.

The successful candidate will provide leadership in the identification, design, implementation, and execution of appropriate commercial processes to support achievement of regional business goals. He or she will partner with leaders across the region in driving changes that will enhance region´s profitability through business and financial information analysis and recommendations, facilitating the ability of the respective Managing Directors (MDs) to focus on customer intimacy, market/segment specific strategies, and ensure strong competitive positioning in delivering growth and profitability.

Role Purpose: The LA Sales Operation Director needs to have the ability to build partnerships and review decisions and proposals of others in a constructive manner. The position will recommend change to streamline and automate current policies/process and establish procedures to coordinate and collaborate across the region.

The position will works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. The successful candidate will operate as a key strategic member of the leadership team, serving Brazil, Mexico and MCA, Multi- Country Area (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Caribbean) business with the efficient management of Proposals, Order Management activities, Systems Technical Sales (Technical Sales Consultant, Product Sales Consultant) Resources and all Sales Operations activities, including Forecasting, Operations Reviews and Sales Incentive Plans. The position will also handle other sales projects and programs as directed.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, visionary leader of people, with previous experience developing and/or implementing sales processes. Must have excellent information analysis, financial and forecasting skills and the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement. Advanced Excel skills are strongly desired and SAP experience is a plus.

Bachelor's degree required
Masters degree/MBA preferred
10 - 15 years in a Management role within relevant sales, marketing, product management or operations/planning fields
Automation Industry and sales reporting experience strongly preferred, as well a strong background in process reviews and finance management
Experience working in an organization with best-in-class sales processes strongly preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills are mandatory in English and Spanish
Fluency in Portuguese is an important asset

- Direct engagement with mid to large size publishers to drive adoption of Microsoft Win 8 Advertising platform

- Pipeline management and lead generation

Breadth Publishers: (30%)

- Responsible for securing Win 8 Advertising presence and representation in major developer and evangelism events
- Subject matter expert and evangelist for Win 8 Ads in Aps solutions to the developers and small publishers community

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Good knowledge of the commercial security field including,experience in threat analysis and developing risk analysis; experience in evaluating and implementing physical asset protection and conducting site surveys; awareness of executive protection and event security; conducting and managing complex investigations, i.e. fraud allegations and civil investigations; conducting witness, victim, and suspect interviews&#39; experience; information security knowledge and experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Good commercial and pragmatic approach;
Be able to prepare documentation for corporate leadership or governmental agencies;
Verbal and written proficiency in English and Portuguese required; Spanish is recommended and would be a bonus;
Ability to stay focused by constantly reassessing priorities within the business;
Ability to work confidently, persuasively and to gain the respect and trust of other senior managers;
Flexible attitude to travel;
International experience – prior living or working in more than one country would be useful;
Bachelor's degree required; a Law or Masters degree or other advanced degree would be beneficial;
Prior experience is required in law enforcement or as a corporate security professional

Job Responsibilities:

The Legislative Manager is responsible for researching legislative changes and their potential impact on client delivery from a product and service perspective for Brazil (additional countries in Latin America may be added at a later time).

Responsibility is focused on gathering information and providing it to Product for incorporation into product solutions, Other parts of the organization may also benefit from this information including (but not limited to): Service, Implementation, and Support, although these groups are considered "consumers&quot; of standard communication outputs from the Legislative Management Team. The role uses defined processes to research and consolidate information into an easily used format. This role requires significant expertise in legislative research. Research may include (but is not limited to) contacting legal service organizations, direct contact with government agencies at all levels, and utilizing web-based and other sources.

To be successful, this role across requires a good working knowledge of the GlobalView® service delivery model and basic understanding of the product offering for each country in the assigned portfolio. This role is expected to function independently to provide legislative information in a timely fashion to internal business partners. The Legislative Manager is expected to manage priorities and work independently.
Reporting to the Director - Legislative Compliance, the role must interact with others in Product and with associates in Implementation, Service, and Support.

Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)

Required skills and competencies for entry level candidates to this role:
- Experience in performing legislative research for Brazil
- Experience working with vendors/third parties/internal sources to gather legislative information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully without significant supervision in a fully virtual environment
- Appreciation of cultural nuances and differences and their impact on effective communication
- Ability to learn "on the job" and make sound decisions under sometimes ambiguous circumstances
Desireable skills:
- Sense of humour
