Managing Director
Hays - Sao Paulo (São Paulo e Região, Brasil)
Descrição da vaga

Hays first entered the Brazilian market in 2006 and our operations have enjoyed growth commensurate to that of the country's economy. Hays opened its first Brazilian office in the city of Sao Paulo. There were 10 consultants working across four "specialisms" – Accountancy & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Logistics. The business has experienced unprecedented growth. The first year of operation saw the new business exceed all targets and a further office was established less than a year later in Rio de Janeiro. Headcount continued to increase during subsequent years of operation and further specialisms were added to the ever-growing portfolio. Hays Brazil now offers recruitment services across 15 specialisms. Five years on and with around 100 consultants, we also have offices in Campinas(2010) and Curitiba(2011). The market continues to present numerous opportunities to Hays to grow market share.

Reporting into the MD for Southern Europe & Latin America, the new Managing Director of Hays Brazil will assume overall responsibility for the business (including full P&L responsibility) and will be tasked with growing Hays to become a top three player in the local market within two years. To achieve this, the successful person will design, implement and execute a strategy to generate profitable growth.

The role brings with it the responsibility for the effective management of Hays locally and the delivery of the business plan to ensure its long term profitability. It also requires an individual who can articulate the value proposition effectively in the local market – in line with the company vision and brand - whilst acting as the country representative for all internal and external events and affairs. Other challenges include ensuring operational capacity plans, department structures and staffing are optimized to deliver agreed performance, whilst developing current staff into leaders for the future. The Brazilian MD forms part of the regional management team of Latin America and naturally the role requires someone who can work effectively with their counterparts in the region and who is able to leverage the Group's extensive network further afield.
Competências e experiências desejadas

Applicants for this role should currently be operating successfully at a senior leadership level within an established recruitment business and have the capability and potential to power Hays Brazil to achieve substantial commercial growth. Portuguese and English language skills are highly desirable but other interested parties will be considered. Your success will be well rewarded financially and you will also benefit from our industry-renowned senior management training programmes hosted at international business schools. We will provide you with every opportunity to realise your career potential on a global stage.

We are passionate about our business and ambitious about our ability to become the leading specialist recruitment business in Brazil. You have the opportunity to drive that success.
