You will lead the Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering activity in the facility across the product lifecycle of the sub-systems for the gas turbine packages, delivering package engineering solutions that meet customer requirements at highest quality. You will also lead on lowering product cost, program cost, and on-time delivery. The Role will require working with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and partners. You will also ensure compliance with all aspects of Rolls-Royce policies and standards in package engineering solutions to assure product integrity throughout the product lifecycle and provide technical expertise support throughout the product life cycle.
Key accountabilities
Technical Authority for the facility, accountable for the compliance to the Design Intent and Method of Manufacture.
Drive continuous business improvement including cross-functional teamwork.
Communicate verbally and through reporting requirements, key Engineering deliverables and status.
Ensure design, manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture within the facility are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time.
Control design and manufacturing process change within the facility. Implement and control the effective governance of change management for product and processes with the Corporate Energy Business Unit.
Lead the technical input into the facility strategy, including ensuring that Commodity and Manufacturing Process strategy implications are included in capital plans.
Integrate Capability Acquisition and Product Introduction activities on behalf of the facility, buying off new capabilities and methods of manufacture for new parts/assemblies. Ensure new capabilities/methods are at the required level of readiness for production application.
Lead technical problem resolution and technical improvement activities within the facility. Support and implementation of productivity improvement, lead-time reduction, and other relevant improvement initiatives and professional and career development of the engineering group.
Management, creation, and maintenance of the engineering organization to maximize and retain individual contributions.
Manage Engineering load/capacity plans and budgets for the facility.
Key experience and qualifications
Bachelor of Science in engineering with significant experience in rotating machinery packaging.
Previous experience in requirements management, systems integration, risk management, and technology acquisition.
Excellent Skills to lead large team(s) and develop employees in engineering discipline.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical aspects to customers and senior management.
Has provided technical and professional leadership to a team of Engineers.
General awareness of Engineering and Manufacturing Systems (Product Life Cycle Management, CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc.) relevant to the business.
Experience in the petrochemical industry and knowledge of buy-to-specification and make-to-print engineered sub-systems is Preferred.
Master's Degree in engineering and/or management is preferred.

New partnerships

This individual will analyze main gaps/opportunities into our messages to identify potential partners to brand with. Additionally, he/she will not only recruit and manage the relationships but also develop the campaigns and marketing activities aligned to the target group and Intel messages.

Major Responsibilities
Lead and Manage Plant Staff
· Regular staff meetings and interaction with plant staff
· Use Operating Plans to set specific functional and individual goals
· Use PMPs to reinforce Ops and for staff development
· Special projects and actions as needed
Develop and Execute Plans to meet Annual Plant Performance
· Create annual Operating Plan. CAPEX budget and Plant Budget
· Submit CAPEX requests and execute CAPEX projects
· Implement systems to monitor performance and identify areas of concern and or less-than-target performance
· Address areas of concern and or less-than-target performance
· Maintain site to support operating needs and meet compliance requirements for physical facilities (example is Environmental compliance)
· Provide planned and special updates to communicate plant performance to OPEX management, local/regional leaders, global leaders and plant workforce
· Set plans with objectives of increasing safety and customer service, increasing Productivity, decreasing costs, maximizing quality and enhancing employee engagement
Drive Plant Performance to align with, and support, non-plant functions.
· Actively work with local, regional and global leaders to integrate plant support for non-plant Operating Plans into plant Operating Plan
· Drive plant performance to follow through in supporting non-plant Operating Plans
· Communicate updates inside and outside of plant
· Identify, communicate and propose solutions for potential conflicts among competing objectives
· Operate plant to support both process (example is ISO) and product (example is inmetro) approvals
Strategic Operational Leadership
· Lead or participate in strategic projects as needed, including Product and Market Steering Teams
· Translate MSA strategies into plans >1 year for plant to improve safety and customer service, reduce costs, enhance employee engagement and increase quality
· Take a "business leader" approach to managing plant staff and working with non-plant staff
Champion and Lead Lean/Continuous improvement activities for Operations
· Facilitate application of appropriate lean tools
· Use operational and business strategic goals to determine areas of focus & priority
The role will be located in Diadema, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Competências e experiências desejadas

Minimum 10 years of experience managing manufacturing processes preferably in an industry aligned with MSA's segment; likely auto parts, technology peripherals and medical equipment environment recognized for their operational excellence.

MSA would also prefer profiles with relevant experience in facility projects, leading multifunctional project teams, and a successful track record in working with and leading deployment of Lean/ Continuous Improvement (i.e. TPS - Toyota Production System based concepts) and Six Sigma initiatives.

A career path that is route up manufacturing; broadly responsible/ conversant in disciplines such as procurement, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, engineering, quality, engineering, planning and customer service.

A track record of success in identifying and implementing "best in class" management processes as it relates to the development of sales and marketing organizations, customer service, quality assurance and technology operations.

Experience both as a strategist and tactical operating executive, possessing strong problem solving and project management skills.

Proven track record in delivering either sustainable cost savings or led innovation projects leveraging on market opportunities for new products.

Degree in an engineering or operational management discipline ideally complemented with a post graduate business qualification.

Fluency in Portuguese and English are required, Spanish fluency will be advantageous.

Based in San Paulo, Brazil or Miami, Florida, the Director, Regional Marketing - Latin America is responsible for the development and implementation of the regional marketing strategy and plan for the Latin American region with specific focus on key/priority markets.
As a key member of the LATAM Regional team, the successful candidate will work to build a strong brand presence and drive adoption of Desire2Learn Products/Services in target geographies within the region to meet sales goals.
What would my main duties be?
Conducting market and competitive analysis and research as required
Identification and communication of market and customer requirements specific to the LATAM market
Development and execution of the marketing strategy by country
Development and execution of the annual and quarterly market plans by country
Management a of the annual/quarterly marketing budget
Tracking and measurement of marketing activities/programs by country/region
Develop regional/country launch strategies for new products and services
Hiring and management of additional in-region marketing resources as required
Work closely with Corporate Marketing and Marketing Development as required to drive global brand/messaging consistency and leverage corporate resources and assets
Establish and implement channel marketing programs including development of co-marketing plans/campaigns, incentive programs, and quarterly business planning with partners as required
Liaise with media on corporate/regional press releases
