GBS and GE International are headquartered in Shelton, CT; It is part of Global Business Services (GBS), which is a Shared Services Operation in Corporate Finance undergoing growth and transition. GBS provides employee and financial services to GE businesses worldwide.


Opportunity to work at South Zone of São Paulo.

Role Summary: Monitor progress toward business plans and strategies to ensure that operational objectives are achieved. Proactively resolve potential issues, with escalation as appropriate. GBS Americas is an organization that brings together 350 employees in the areas of finance, accounting, employee services, travel management, and Customs Operations management. Regionally, GBS Americas is focused on Compliance, Controllership, and Customer Service to the served clients across the region.

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop strategic long and short-term action plans that support the business' vision, objectives and values.
Provide leadership and support to operational managers, as required.
Establish, monitor, and continuously upgrade measurement systems, metrics, and scorecards to drive and facilitate the achievement of business plans, completion of projects and initiatives, while also exceeding customer expectations.
Ensure compliance with established internal policies, procedures and authority levels, as well as local country regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Perform gap analysis and develop new processes as needed.
Leverage best practices to build scalable and sustainable solutions.
Look for opportunities to drive simplification and consistency.
Develop training strategies to drive employee performance.
Partner with HR and business leaders in assessing skill/capability development requirements, and defining appropriate e-tools, curriculum/workshops, etc.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, related field.
Experience in finance or accounting functional areas, or related fields.
Direct or indirect supervisory experience.
Quality training or previous experience with process improvement projects.
Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong influencing skills.
Ability to work in a matrix environment and drive strategic initiatives across operations organization.
Excellent organizational, follow-up, analytical and problem solving skills.
Bilingual Portuguese/ English
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.

· Master's Degree.
· LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
· Experience in shared services
· Spanish conversational skills
