Customer Services & Maintenance Manager, Latin America (located in Sao Paulo/Brazil)

Our Client is looking for a Senior Manager who has/had deeply technical experience in customer Services activities related to large cranes and/or similar construction equipments.

Overview

This position will be responsible for after sales support, service sales, dealer and customer training, equipment commissioning, parts sales and quality control in Latin America region. This will include establishing long term business relationships, development plans and support initiatives with customers and distributors while focusing on profitability and customer performance.

Responsibilities
• Coordinating the on-going support for activities in Latin America
• identify opportunities to enhance service support
• Develop strategies/tactics to improve parts stocking requirements based on distributor/customers machine population and usage
• Develop training activities with all active distributors for parts, service, warranty, and documentation
• Support dealers with technical information and after sales support
• Respond to, problem-solve and handle difficult and complex customer questions, problems, and inquiries in a professional manner (including internal customers)
• Collect, analyze, post, and report customer data for Service Parts
• Provide up to date distributor information, metrics and visit reports

Language Requirements
Fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese are essential (proficient verbally and in writing)

Experience:
10 years or more of service and/or product support experience with customers, dealers or manufacturers required
College degree in engineering, Past training experience
Ability to provide direction to technical and non-technical people while coordinating multiple projects toward a common goal
Thorough understanding of machinery, industry and ability to quickly learn and teach internal processes
Ability to travel 70% of the time domestically or internationally.
