Gourmet Sales & Account Manager - Foodservice / Bakery & Speciality Distributors (São Paulo)
Chronos Consulting's client is a European importer and manufacturer of gourmet and speciality food products. We are seeking a sales savvy and experienced Gourmet Sales and Account Manager.to develop, execute and expand within the Brazilian marketplace.
This role is a combination of account management and developing new business. An exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic individual contributor to manage a large national speciality food distributor and expand the customer base in Brazil. Creating and implementing go-to-market strategies, increase sales and profit and expand sales into foodservice, restaurants, hotels, pastry chefs and bakeries.

The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:
- Create and implement go to market strategies, increase sales and profit and oversee assigned Speciality Distributors and grow and expand Foodservice accounts.

- Develop and execute a national business plan able to deliver a range of volume, margin, and profile objectives with P&L responsibility.

- Implement the strategy for all business segments, collect and manage competitive intelligence gathering to ensure proper pricing, sales & marketing support, and over all customer service.

- Design and implement quarterly and yearly plans for distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives in your region.
- Expand and develop regional restaurant chains, hotels, restaurants and bakery accounts

- Working closely with colleagues in Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations in Brazil, Europe and North America
The Requirements
You possess:
University degree coupled 8 - 10 + years experience in sales of gourmet and premium / speciality food products in Brazil.
5 - 8 years experience in either managing a direct sales force or Distribution / Broker network is a must

-Proven sales track record and well connected with Foodservice, Broadline and Speciality Distributors in Brazil
- Passionate and pragmatic with exceptional negotiation & communication skills, relationship builder and deal closer.

- Strong coaching, and managerial skills with a consultative selling approach.

- High energy and driven personality with a passion for sales and account development and execution

- Available to travel extensively and work closely with the Distribution sales force

Fluent English and Portuguese. Spanish or French a plus
